I did Digital Detox for a day

Yesterday I decided to disconnect from all kinds of technology. When slept last to last night, I decided to abandon all my tech for the entirety of the next day for a digital detox. Last night, I also turned my alarm off and put my mobile and computer into a safe which I locked for the next 24 hours.

When I woke up yesterday morning I woke up earlier and fresher, as my body woke up when the sun had risen. I was also fresh as I woke up quietly instead of waking up suddenly to the sound of an alarm clock. I woke up and freshened up. I then started to read a book and then it was time for breakfast. Instead of watching TV while eating my food, I sat down quietly and enjoyed my food, and surprisingly it tasted much better. Then I went to play Football, then came back and rested for a while.

When I woke up, I continued to read a book while drinking hot chocolate and it felt much better than watching TV. I then ate dinner and went out for a walk to digest the food. Listening to the quietness and the calmness without technology really felt good. I then came back home, read a book, brushed my teeth and went to bed. When I woke up this morning, I felt so energized and refreshed, that even when the safe opened, I didn’t use my electronics. I hope I will be able to do such a thing again. Yay
